Square format instax cameras and the new Mini Jingstax

It's been a few months now searching for decently priced SQ1 and SQ40 cameras and I think I have to conclude that maybe Fujifilm is quietly discontinuing these models. I even went by two local shops and asked them to talk to their reps and was told as much. I was able to source five units last month so I expect to put them up soon on the website. In the meantime, I did create a mini format version of the jingstax. It's quite a different experience shooting this aspect ratio. I'm getting the hang of it and getting to like it. Plus, I can see portraiture possibilities with it. Though I didn't take this photo of Danny DeVito (credit goes to Mark Mann - not sure what camera back he used), I love the aspect ratio of the mini. It's ideal for shots like this. I just like seeing this on my shelf above my desk.
